Happy (belated) Valentine’s Day! I am not generally super-invested in this holiday, but I do love any extra reason to make cards and tell my loved ones how very loved they are. Over the weekend, Lucy and I travelled to chilly Chicago to celebrate my amazing grandmother’s 94th (!) birthday. At the end of Valentine’s day dinner, my clever cousin Claire surprised us with a creative treat. She had her local bakery craftily transfer my hand-lettered illustration of the word LOVE (check out the original HERE) onto these delicious sugar cookies. It was an extra sweet surprise to cap off an awesome family weekend full of four generations of love.
